The Day of the Dead Festival is a non-profit organization focused on promoting the richness of Mexican culture through art, gastro​nomy, music and dance that appeal to the senses of all ages. Our festival is an opportunity to experience a piece of Mexico in the heart of Canada. We wish to provide the people of Ottawa with an authentic taste of this captivating celebration that is the Day of the Dead for years to come.
Our Mission
To entertain the public through interactive and meaningful experiences that will broaden their perspective on culture and inspire them to explore and learn about the diversity in the Nation’s Capital. We hope to provide a sense of amazement, excitement and intrigue when faced with culture and create an environment that encourages harmony and open-mindedness within the community.
